Coach Courtney will be entering her third year at VAVA. She brings over 10 years of playing, as well as adding onto her 8 years of coaching experience to VAVA. Having learned so much from her own coaches growing up, she is dedicated to passing on that knowledge and passion to those in her community.

She played volleyball at Brentsville District Highschool as an Outside/Middle/Opposite, where she was varsity captain for 3 years. She then went on to play DIII volleyball as a Setter/Libero/DS at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA. She now plays Middle/Opposite for the 9Man volleyball club PHICIA, that competes all over North America.
