Eric Martin
Coach E. has been with VAVA since its start as a floater coach and enters his third year as a head coach. Based on his 30 years of playing experiences and time as a head, assistant, and floater coach he continuously develops and refines
his own coaching style.
His focus is on player development and teaching from the ground up, not top down. He focuses on process, team, patience, failure, and volleyball IQ… all while trying to have as much fun as possible.

- As an adult he has played many years for CHRVA and has won Regionals for various levels receiving All Tournament honors a few times. He has been competing at USAV Adult Nationals for over 20 years.
He currently plays with Team LVC for the VLA (Volleyball League of America). The VLA is the US Professional Volleyball league consisting of past US Olympians, National team members, current and past overseas professionals, graduated DI-III players, etc.

He also has been playing NACIVT 9-man volleyball since 1996. He started the club PHICIA in 2006 and currently plays, coaches, along with being the Technical Director.
He played three years of Club at JMU where he revived the club program and received an All Tournament and two All Conference honors as an OH and S. He played Varsity for two years at Easton High School in Easton, PA.
